Mini Clean Flow Heater

A powerful, compact solution for heating moving liquids and gases.


The Mini Clean Flow heaters can be used to heat media in-line with the process flow. The heater is cleaned with IPA and rinsed with DI water and then passivated. This process minimizes contamination of the media being heated. For liquids, the max outlet temperature is driven by the liquid media, for gases the max outlet can be 800°C. The internal element in most cases comes with a built-in thermocouple (K or J), which will monitor the heater and the media temperature. BCE prefers grounded junctions, meaning grounded to the sheath of the internal heater. By having this configuration, the heating element is in direct contact with the media, hence maximum efficiency.

Cable heaters feature continuous operating temperatures up to 1200F (843C). Rapid heating and cooling occur due to the low mass construction. All heating elements are sealed from contamination and the stainless steel sheath provides maximum corrosion resistance. Optional internal thermocouples may be utilized for precise control. These coil heaters are available in profiled coil configuration for maximum heating efficiency.

BCE ceramic thick film heaters are easily customized into a variety of shapes and sizes, and provide excellent heat transfer. Long life is assured by precise thermal matching between ceramics and resistor traces.

Mineral insulated cable heaters can be shaped to a wide variety of forms and sizes delivering high temperatures to areas where standard heaters are impractical due to size or space restrictions. MI Cable heaters can be designed to cover cylindrical areas that require constant heat patterns. Custom-formed mineral insulated cable heaters are transitioned with a vapor resistant transition to a flexible lead wire, which can have additional protective jackets such as stainless steel braid or stainless steel armor.

The delta T between the heating element sheath and the internal wire is minimal which allows you to use high watt density heating elements without any failure, particularly with gas heating.
